Apex Mountain Resort

It has been said that Apex Mountain Resort is one of the hidden gems of Canadian skiing due to its “big powder days where everyone gets first tracks”. It possesses an untouched, intimate, uncrowded, fun and fast, yet laid back atmosphere. Apex has been referred to as Canada’s #1 small destination resort.

Apex is a full service resort with quality snow, great weather and incredible terrain including 1,112 ski-able acres, with an awesome high-speed quad lift taking you up to 605m in just 6½ minutes!

Apex offers the lightest champagne powder snow imaginable as it receives about 600cm of dry powder each year. No matter what your skill level you just can't help but get better and better with terrain like this.

For beginners and intermediates you will find your full share of corduroy on gently rolling slopes. Beginners can start their day on the new magic carpet lift and by midday they will be keen to ride the high-speed quad. Following the Ridge Run to the triple chair there are 16 wide and perfectly manicured green and blue trails, which will thrill all snow sport enthusiasts. You can explore with a trip over to the south bowls or cruise through the glades, get your heart pumping on one of the steep 'n' deep narrow runs on the north side, or show off your style in the pit. With three different exposures to the elements there is always a sweet spot.

Hook up with one of the mountain hosts and you’ll soon see why they’re so passionate about this great mountain. Apex is now recognised as a National Training Centre for both Aerials and Moguls and with continued development of facilities and infrastructure Apex has returned to the world stage as one of the most attractive ski destinations in Canada.
