Big White’s famous 'champagne powder', which blankets 118 designated trails and dozens of magical pine-tree glades, is serviced by high-speed, state-of-the-art ski lifts. You can even reach the summit of the mountain itself. Standing tall at 2,319m (7,606ft) the peak has views that will leave you breathless.
You’re on top of the world at Big White - in a winter wonderland!
Apart from world-class facilities and magical dry snow, Big White Ski Resort also offers that wonderful add-on to the perfect winter vacation – the chance to ski-in and ski-out of your own front door. In fact, the main street is even a ski run.
Because the team at Ski Tours Canada know the resort intimately we can advise you on the best accommodation to suit your needs.

Want more? Well, what about the largest night-skiing area in Western Canada to grab your attention, or a ski season that stretches from November to mid-April.
Then there’s Telus Park, a purpose-built skiing and snowboarding fantasyland where everyone from children to Olympic-calibre athletes can test themselves on a range of terrains from simple slopes to world-class monster super pipes. As the park is open as part of Big White’s night skiing area on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, the fun doesn’t have to end when the sun goes down.
Big White is one of the venues of the Interschools Canada program, which offers Australian families overseas holiday packages where the kids can train for Australian interschool ski and snowboard competitions with specialist instructors. For more information on Interschools Canada, click here.
As Big White and Silver Star ski resorts share the same owner, a regular muti-day lift pass or a dual-season pass (which costs around 13% more than a regular season pass) will allow you to use the facilities of both resorts – that’s almost 6,000 acres of skiable terrain! Shuttle buses run between the resorts on most days, with the journey taking around 90 minutes.
Ski Tours Canada can design your personal ski holiday with as many extra services and activities as you like, from home-delivered groceries to sleigh rides, ice hockey games and ice-skating. After all, we are here to make your Big White snow adventure the holiday you’ve always dreamt of.
