LESSONS

With 3 magnificent mountains to choose from, there is something for every level of skier or boarder when holidaying at Sun Peaks Resort.

Sun Peaks Resort operates an internationally acclaimed Snow Sports School offering adult, youth and children’s ski improvement programs. Most of our Ski Tours Canada packages include ski improvement, lessons and lift tickets. We strongly recommend advance bookings for the lesson component of your personalised itinerary, particularly in peak holiday season. We may also be able to assist with some personal recommendations for instructors upon request.

The resort’s snow sports school has a great variety of adult group programs and private lessons to choose from. Ladies Day every Thursday, which includes lunch and a 2 hour lesson is always very popular. You can even ‘Ski with Nancy Greene’- an Olympic champion – in her special private lesson program.

There are plenty of options for the kids too, including group and individual lessons. The Sun Tots program, for example, takes kids from between 3 and 5, both on skis and on boards. Meanwhile, Sun Kids offers 3 or 5-day programs for kids from 5 – 12 years old.

And when you want a break, turn to the Sundance Club, which offers childcare for kids from 18 months to five years of age.

LIFTS

Sun Peaks Resort’s lift tickets give you access to 1,471 hectares (3,678 acres) of terrain, 122 trails, and terrain parks, with lower prices for youths (13 – 18 years), children (6 – 12 years), tots (5 years and under) and seniors (over 65 years). If you are planning to stay at Sun Peaks for an extended period of time, the resort offers season passes and Value Cards.

Value Cards give you the opportunity to purchase day lift tickets at discounted rates throughout the season, with the option of requesting the ‘direct to lift’ option, where the discounted rate is automatically charged to your credit card when your value card is scanned by the lift ticket checkers – no need to stop at the ticket window!
