Skiing and snowboarding at Whistler Resort

In December 2008, skiers and boarders at Whistler BC were able to access for the first time, the new Peak to Peak Gondola, linking Whistler and Blackcomb mountains as never before. While most people currently choose either to ski Whistler or Blackcomb mountain each day, the Peak to Peak Gondola means guests will be able to explore this massive ski resort across both mountains as they please.
With over 10m of annual snowfall and a vertical drop of 1,609m, the rugged peaks of Whistler and Blackcomb ski resort offer exhilarating skiing and snowboarding on the largest ski-able terrain of all ski resorts in North America (3,307ha/8,171ac). With 38 lifts, 5 mountain bases and over 200 marked runs, there is so much space for everyone.

Ski Whistler and glide effortlessly around the spectacular cross-country trails, meander through wide open groomed runs, and carve out your tracks in powder-filled bowls, steep powder chutes, challenging mogul fields and secluded tree glades in this top ranked ski resort. Whistler snowboarding options include fine tuning your tricks on the championship-style pipe and terrain parks or flying into untouched powder and getting the thrill of a lifetime.  With specially-developed kids programs, learning areas and secret kids-only castles and tree forts Whistler ski resort really does have something to offer everyone, including guests who choose not to ski.
