Kicking Horse Mountain Resort

LESSONS

Whether it's confidence building or touch-up lessons, the Kicking Horse Mountain School's programs can help make your Kicking Horse Resort skiing or snowboarding experience a successful one! Qualified instructors will ensure that you receive the instruction most suited to your needs.

The Mountain School is divided into 3 sections, which all offer a variety of programs.

  • The Big Mountain Centre, offering strong to intermediate skiers private and guiding sessions for the ‘big’ parts of the mountain, including the best-kept secrets and powder stashes.
  • Your Learning Centre, which focuses on adult learning, from first-timers to seasoned skiers looking to improve their skills and confidence.
  • Kicking Horse Kids Zone, where hand-picked instructors will provide safe learning experiences to kids, from first-timers through to those ready for the big runs.

LIFTS

Kicking Horse Mountain offers a variety of ticket options, including day, multi-day and season passes, with a free Guided Mountain Tour offered with every day ticket purchased. Flex-days are available on multi-day passes.

GEAR

The exclusive on-mountain Kicking Horse Resort ski rental outlet is Canyon Creek Outfitters, located in the Glacier Lodge in the Gondola Plaza. It offers a variety of ski, snowboard and other winter sport clothing and equipment. It hasan emphasis on beginner to intermediate equipment from brands including Rossignol, Burton, Volkl and Salomon, and also includes a complete repair shop.
