Marmot Basin - Jasper

After an exhilarating day on the slopes the town of Jasper offers everything a visitor might want. With a permanent population of 4,500 residents, Jasper has managed to preserve a small-town feeling while offering amenities you’d expect from a world-class winter resort. People greet you warmly even though they’ve never met you and it doesn't take visitors long to feel part of the community … and find it hard to leave!

The Caribou Chalet, located at the base of the ski area, features a cafeteria and dining lounge. Classic western fare and daily specials are offered in both restaurants. The dining lounge offers a magnificent view of the Athabasca Valley and the surrounding mountain peaks and is a favourite spot for an après ski beverage.

At Marmot's mid-mountain you will find the Eagle Chalet and Paradise Chalets. These two adjoining log-style buildings are home to Charlie’s Lounge, the Eagle Dining Room and Lounge and the Paradise Cafeteria. A variety of food and drink is available throughout the two chalets and there are several outdoor decks for relaxing and soaking up the springtime sun.
