Banff Rated #1 by Trip Advisor

TripAdvisor has announced the results of its 2008 Traveler’s Choice Destinations Awards and the winner is Banff, rated Canada’s #1 destination. Awarded through the unbiased opinions of millions of travelers who visit the site, Banff is known for its reputation to enthrall visitors.
Winners are determined by a combination of TripAdvisor's Popularity Index and traveler ratings. The Popularity Index is a well-defined decision matrix that determines traveler satisfaction based on hotel reviews, travel articles and opinions found throughout the web.
“We are thrilled to be chosen #1 for Canada by the world’s largest travel community”, says Julie Canning, President and CEO of Banff Lake Louise Tourism. These coveted awards have earned their distinction from those who know the best – authentic travelers.
