Day 1. Home Port - Vancouver - Join flight to Vancouver. On arrival at the Fairmont Hotel in Vancouver meet your Tour Director and companions for a "Welcome to Canada" reception and dinner.


Day 2. The Rocky Mountaineer - Kamloops - Morning transfers to the railroad station for 2 days enjoying "The Most Spectacular Train Trip in the World". Relax in your Goldleaf carriage as you view the Fraser Valley and travel towards Kamloops.


Day 3. The Rocky Mountaineer - Jasper - Transfer back to Kamloops station and continue your journey easteward into the spectacular Rocky Mountains before arriving in Jasper.


Day 4. Icefields Parkway - Glacier "Ice Explorer" - Enjoy a guided walk down the stuffning Maligne canyon before continuing south along the Icefields Parkway. Board the "Ice Explorer" onto the mightly Athabasca Glacier.


Day 5. Lake Louise - Emerald Lake - Banff - Enjoy a relaxing morning before visiting Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge. One arrival in Banff enjoy a sightseeing tour.


Day 6. Banff - Today you are free to choose one freechoice activity including: Guided Nature Hike with an expert naturalist, 9 holes of golf at Banff Springs Hotel, A gondola ride up Sulpher Mountain, A float trip on the Bow River or Horse riding along the Bow River.


Day 7. Glacier National Park - Sun Peaks - Cross into Yoho National Park as we begin our descent from the Canadian Rockies. Travel through Glacier National Park and Mt Revelstoke National Park before arrving in the resort town of Sun Peaks.


Day 8. Hat Creek Ranch - Whistler - Visit Historic Hat Creek Ranch and then pass through the towns of Cache Creek and Lillooet before arriving in Whistler. Then step into the world of the Black Bear with Michael Allen, a world leader in Black Bear Research.


Day 9. Cheakamus Canyon - Howe Sound - Victoria - Enjoy breakfast in The Fairmont Chateau Whistler before travelling south along the Howe Sound. Board a ferry to travel through Georgia Strait to Victoria and your room at the Fairmont Empress Hotel.


Day 10. Victoria - Butchart Gardens - This morning visit the world famous Butchart Gardens and enjoy the 22 ha of floral displays. Then select one activity from the freechoice including: A leisurely walk through Victoria and the waterfront before indulging in Afternoon Tea at the Empress, A Horse & Carriage ride through Victoria, Salmon fishing on Canada's west coast, A whale watching cruise in a comfortable covered boat or by high speed zodiac inflatable boat, A 30 minute scenic floatplane flight over the inner harbour, or Explore Victoria's Historical past including Hatley and Craigdarroch Castle.


Day 11. Victoria - Anchorage - Board your flight to Anchorage, Alaska and transfers to your Hotel.


Day 12. McKinley Explorer - Denali National Park - Board a full-dome railcar of the "McKinley Explorer" train where (weather permitting) you will catch glimpses of spectacular Mt Mckinley. Arrive at Denali National Park with 6 million acres of countless spectacular mountains.


Day 13. Denali National Park - Choose one of the freechoice activities for the day including: A comprehensive tundra wilderness tour, A Natural History tour of Denali National Park, Rafting down the Nenana River or Visit the homstead of Jeff King - the three time ltidarod champion and meet his champion sled dogs.


Day 14. Danali - Fairbanks - This morning perhaps enjoy an optional activity such as a Helicopter Glacier Flight (optional activities at own expense) before continuing to Fairbanks, Alaska's second largest city.


Day 15. Fairbanks - River Cruise - Tok - Board the sternwheeler "Discovery III" for a morning cruise down the Chena and Tanana Rivers. Stop at a replica Athabascan native village to learn about teh early inhabitants of this region and enjoy a dogsled demonstration. Then in the afternoon travel towards the small settlement of Tok.


Day 16. Yukon River Cruise - Eagle - Depart from Tok and travel along the Taylor Highway to the small settlement of Eagle. After a short tour of Eagle, board the cruise vessel "Yukon Queen II" and spend the afternoon crusing up the fascinating Yukon River to Dawson City.


Day 17. Dawson City - Choose from your freechoice activites including: Gold Dredge and City Tour, Rafting down the Klondike River, or Enjoy 9 holes of golf with spectacular views of the Yukon River and Dawson City.


Day 18. Frantic Follies Vaudeville Revue - Whitehorse - Travel the Klondike Highway thorugh Canada's Yukon Territory. Enjoy the views of Lake Laberge before stopping at Minto and then arriving in Whitehorse.


Day 19. White Pass and Yukon Railroad - Skagway - Enjoy a tour of Whitehorse, including a visit to the sternwheeler riverboat s.s. Klondike, before boarding your coach to travel along the Klondike Highway. Board the historic White Pass and Yukon Railroad to travel down one of the world's most scenci mountain railways. Pass through Tunnel Mountain and over the yawning chasm of Glacier George as you see the remarkable route taken by the early gold seekers.


Day 20. Skagway - Alaskan Cruise - Leave your hotel late in the morning to explore Skagway before you board your Holland America Line cruise ship.


Day 21. Magnificent Glacier Bay - Your ship cruises the iceberg-strewn waters of Glacier Bay National Park allowing you to view tidewater glaciers, and the snowcapped peaks of St Elias, where only 200 years ago the islands and shorelines were completely covered in ice.


Day 22. Ketchikan - Visit fascinating Ketchikan, Alaska's first city. Take the opportunity to visit the Totem Bight State Park and walk through the forest to a replica of a Tlingit Indian Village.


Day 23. Crusing the Inside Passage - A relaxing day as you travel south through the Inside Passage, shaped by glaciers millions of years ago and now a web of quiet fjords and peaceful islands.


Day 24. Vancouver - Disembark and transfer to Vancouver Airport to board your homebound flight.


Day 25. Cross International Date Line - In flight, cross the international date line.


Day 26. Arrive Home Port - Tour ends upon arrival - the end of an exciting tour.
